Last weekend, I had the pleasure of performing close-up magic for a private group of about 30 people celebrating Jasmin’s 30th birthday at the iconic Luxor Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. And let me tell you—this group came ready to party!
From the moment I stepped into the room, the energy was electric. Everyone had a drink in hand, smiles on their faces, and they quickly surrounded me as I began performing some of my favorite sleight-of-hand illusions. There’s something extra fun about doing close-up magic when people are already in celebration mode—it makes the reactions even bigger and the laughs even louder.
The night was full of those unforgettable “No way!” moments, with cards appearing in impossible places, borrowed items vanishing and reappearing, and group members jumping back in disbelief (and sometimes spilling a little of their drinks ). The best part? The magic didn’t just stay in the moment—it’s still being talked about by the group days later.
I’m honored I got to be part of Jasmin’s milestone celebration. Turning 30 is a big deal, and I’m glad I could help make the night even more unforgettable.
